ECCPASA’s Fetal Alcohol & Drug Effects (FADE) Program offers a positive approach to meeting the challenges of
 prenatal exposure to alcohol and other drugs through prevention, education and awareness presentations and training sessions.

Reconnecting Youth is a program with the purpose of reconnecting youth who are disenfranchised with school and suffering the consequences of these disconnections.

Skills for Tomorrow

Skills For Tomorrow is a comprehensive primary prevention curriculum for upper elementary and middle school students to assist with the development of social and life skills.



Strengthening Families

The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a national model and is the first research-based parenting program specifically designed for parents (with children ages six to 14 years old) working to overcome substance abuse.

Student Assistance Prevention Counseling

The Student Assistance Prevention Counseling (SAPC) Program is a licensed prevention counseling program by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. It utilizes a multidisciplinary approach and intervention system to remove barriers hindering educational and personal development.

Consistent with its National Council on Alcoholism and drug depenedence heritage, the Erie County Council for the Prevention of Alcohol and Substance Abuse will provide leadership to fight the stigma associated with chemical dependency through public and policy education, liason with the professional and recovering communities and objective information, referral and linkage for those in need.

The Erie County Council will provide state-of-the-art prevention and intervention programs for families, schools, faith-based institutions, health and social service agencies, the criminal justice system and interested communities that meet their needs and sustain the chemical dependency focus of the agency.
